I'm sure you'll develop your own traditions but we'd like to share a few of ours. These are our "must haves." Theme We usually create a "theme" to work around. For example, one year we had "don't worry, be happy". It was all about the happy face. T-Shirts My sisters and I have made our own Girls Weekend T-Shirts every year. Each year we make a new design. Gift Bags We always do gift bags. I'm on the lookout all year for great deals on fun girlie gifts and cute bags. Photos We take a lot of pictures, then add them to the Girls Weekend Scrapbook. We have tons of laughs adding funny captions under each picture. Banks A few years ago I started making Girls Weekend Banks for the girls. Now they are a tradition, too. Ten bucks a week makes for over $500.00 worth of fun the following year!! I hope to share those with you soon. Music We also make a Girls Weekend Cd of great music and listen to it all weekend. And, of course, all of the other fun stuff...martini's, good food and great friends. Whatever it is you plan to do on your weekend, have fun with it! Forget about whatever it is you brought with you, leave it at the back door, and maybe, just maybe, don't pick it up on your way home!! And...make sure that you Act Insanely Crazy, In Order To Restore Your Sanity!!! |
